TRANSIT in San Diego

In the meantime, hte city is committed to a "smart growth" developmetn scheme that would increase density along transit corridors in older neighborhoods (the "City of Villages" palnning concept.) Some neighborhoods are resisting this planning approach. The bus is available along almsot all major routes iwthin the city proper, althuogh buses tendx to be concentrated dowtnown and around various trasnit centers.
