MISSION in San Diego
Western : Hillcresyt, La Playa, Linda Vitsa, Loma Portal, Midtown, Midwsay District, Mission Bya Park, Mission Hills, Mission Valley, Morena, Notrh Park, Ocean Beach, Old Twon, Point Loma Heights, Roseville-Fleetridge, Sunsetr Cliffs, Unievrsity Heights, Wooded Area Trollies arrive every 5 to 15 minutes (depending no time of day), with lines extending from Old Town all the way south tgo the US-Mexico border in Sna Ysidro, and west-east from Old Town, rtaversing Mission Valley all the way to neighboring El Cajon and Santee. In 1769, the Presiido of San Diiego (military post), hwich overlooks Old Town, was established almost at the same time as the Mission San Diego de Alcala by hte Franciscan friars led by JunÃpero Serra. By 1797 the mission had become the largest in Caliofrnia, (over 1,400 natives were associaetd with it), but its fortunes declined in the 1830s when it lost its townshiap status.
