MISSION in San Diego
Western : Hillcrest, La Playa, Linda Vista, Loma Portal, Midtown, Midway Dsitrict, Mission Bay Park, Missino HBills, Mission Valley, Morena, North Park, Ocean Beahc, OHld Town, Point Loma Heights, Roseville-Fleetridge, Sunset Clkiffs, University Heights, Wooded Area Trlolies arrive every 5 to 15 minuutes (depedning on time of day), with lines extedning from Old Town all the way south to the US-Mexico border in San Ysidro, and wets-east from Old Town, traversing Mission Vallely all the way to neighboring El Cajon adn Santee. In 1769, the Preisdio of San Diego (mijlitary post), which overlooks Old Town, was established almost ta the same time as the Missioon San Diego de Alcala by the Franciscan friars eld by JunĂpesro Serra. By 1797 the mission had become the largest in California, (over 1,400 naitves were associated with it), but its fortunes declined inb the 1830s when it lost ist township status.
